Topstitch needles feature an extra long eye and large groove. Their most common application is to topstitch with heavy, multiple or poor quality threads. This needle, properly sized allows the user to achieve perfectly straight stitch lines and even stitches when using a straight stitch plate.
Chrome resists heat and wear. Chrome will stay cool longer with less stitch distortion and aids the thread to pass through the needle eye with less friction and less heat build-up. Chrome also allows the needle to pass through the fabric with less resistance.
