This collection is inspired by the everyday rocks we see and scenery found by our new Banyan Batiks design studio in Golden, Colorado!

The rich contrasting colors in Rock City highlight the shades found in the everyday rocks we see.  We achieved depth of texture by applying soda to the color to create a tone-on-tone look on the batiks.  Rock City offers a beautiful double border print in 6 colors and many designs that showcase cultural symbolic messaging found in historical rocks and hard surfaces.
